The Girl Scouts of Western Ohio announced today that it received a $30,000 grant from the Louis & Louise Nippert Charitable Foundation. This generous investment will support the Girl Scouts’ Community Outreach program and Camp for Every Girl Initiative in the Greater Cincinnati region, engaging thousands of local girls in the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.

The purpose of the Community Outreach program is to provide Girl Scouting to every girl through in-school programming, afterschool programming, and day and overnight camps. The Camp for Every Girl Initiative invests in girls by providing financial assistance and transportation assistance to enable girls from economically disadvantaged backgrounds to attend Girl Scout Camp. Thanks to generous donors such as the Louis & Louise Nippert Charitable Foundation, the Girl Scouts of Western Ohio is able to offer the Community Outreach program and Camp for Every Girl Initiative to over 10,000 girls in Western Ohio every year.

"We are thankful to the Louis & Louise Nippert Charitable Foundation for making it possible for Girl Scouts of Western Ohio to serve girls in low socioeconomic communities throughout the greater Cincinnati area," said Roni Luckenbill, CEO of Girl Scouts of Western Ohio. "Thanks to your generous donation, these girls will have a chance to participate in the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.”

"The Louis & Louise Nippert Charitable Foundation is proud to support the Girl Scout mission to build girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place," stated Carter F. Randolph, PhD, President of the Louis & Louise Nippert Charitable Foundation. "We are pleased to help advance this mission in the Cincinnati region.”
