Week 7 - July 23-27, 2018 - Camp Butterworth
  • Lil' Campers - Camping is an adventure! You'll play in nature, eat outside, and hang out with your buddies while working on your Daisy Buddy Camper Badge. Work together to help plan your week at camp, learn how to be prepared on a camping trip, take a hike plus you'll swim each day.
  • Camp-Tastic - There's nothing quite like camping - so why not take your skills to the next level? You'll talk with an expert to answer all your camping questions, learn packing basics, make a camp meal, practice fire building, knots and much more. Girls will work on their Brownie Cabin Camper and Outdoor Adventurer Badge.
  • Camp Like a Girl Scout - Get closer to nature and learn the skills you need to survive and thrive out of doors!  You'll learn useful knots,  how to build fires (even if it's just rained!) , work on your compass skills, learn about  Leave No Trace's seven principles,  cook out over a fire, learn how to make a minimal impact campsite, and create a lashing project. Girls will work on their Junior Camper and Eco-Camper Badges
  • Zombie Survival - Can you survive the zombie takeover? You'll have to learn quick and work as a team to create your own shelter, find different food sources, get water, and protect your unit. Learn about wilderness survival and how to camouflage yourself. Test your skills at archery, fire-building, the climbing wall and first aid. Will you survive and conquer? Girls will work on their Primitive Camper and Trailblazing Badges.
  • Program Aide Training - Earn your PA award while working with Brownies at Day Camp! Spend your first day with your fellow PAs in training, then spend the rest of the week in the unit with girls. Girls will be awarded their pin on Friday before they head home. Girls attending this session must have completed their Leader In Action award (LiA).
  • Butterworth Program Aide - If you have completed Program Aide training and would like to spend the week at day camp working with girls developing leadership, team building, and programming skills, then this is a great opportunity for you! Work with camp staff to implement programs such as badge work, crafts, nature hikes, singing, and more. PAs need to be dropped off and picked up each day, or use the transportation provided.
