Week 8 - July 30 - August 3, 2018 - Camp Butterworth
  • Doodle Bugs - Do you love making crafts? Explore the Outdoor Art Maker badge while having a blast at camp! You'll paint, you'll draw, make your own chalk, swim and so much more!
  • Camp Picasso - Take your love of painting to the next level. Learn different painting techniques, and make your own paint using ingredients found in nature. Paint a mural at camp to leave your mark for future campers. Girls will explore the Brownie Painting badge.
  • Aspiring Artists - Do you live on the creative side? Explore your artist side and  complete both the drawing and jeweler badges at camp. When you're not making art, you'll try out archery, the climbing wall and swim.
  • Heros & Villains - Superhero's have taken over the big screen! Now it's their turn to take over camp as you learn what it means to be a comic artist. You'll create your own characters, create your own logo,  and draw your own panels  in your very own comic book.  You'll also create your own superhero (or villain) gear before embarking on a superhero challenge. Girls will work on their Comic Artist Badge.
  • Program Aide Training - Earn your PA award while working with Brownies at Day Camp! Spend your first day with your fellow PAs in training, then spend the rest of the week in the unit with girls. Girls will be awarded their pin on Friday before they head home. Girls attending this session must have completed their Leader In Action award (LiA).
  • Butterworth Program Aide - If you have completed Program Aide training and would like to spend the week at day camp working with girls developing leadership, team building, and programming skills, then this is a great opportunity for you! Work with camp staff to implement programs such as badge work, crafts, nature hikes, singing, and more. PAs need to be dropped off and picked up each day, or use the transportation provided.
