Girl Scouts of Western Ohio has wrapped up its 2018-2019 employee campaign with 100 percent of employees giving back to the mission. “I am humbled to know that every employee made a contribution to this campaign,” Director of Development Kat Steiner said.
GSWO’s employee campaign raised $41,230 to help build girls of courage, confidence, and character. Money raised during Girl Scout Proud, the employee campaign, provides critical resources for financial assistance and for community outreach programing. More people than ever are asking for help to explore opportunities to ensure a solid future for girls and last year Girl Scouts distributed more than $400,000 to girls in need in every zip code of council.
“Obviously this speaks volumes to our communities, who play a significant role in our success as a non-profit organization. With every employee committing to support girls financially, our employees are showing their devotion to the mission and growth of Girl Scouts,” said CEO Roni Luckenbill.
“We often refer to the term ‘Girl Scout Proud’ in our offices and this is a tangible demonstration of staff believing that EVERY girl should have the opportunity to be part of Girl Scouts.”
