To recognize people in the Cincinnati region who have supported Camp for Every Girl, an initiative designed to help get girls to camp, Girl Scouts of Western Ohio held an open house for supporters and members of the Juliette Gordon Low Planned Giving Society last Thursday.

The open house, held at Camp Stonybrook, was designed to share the impact that camp has on girls by allowing donors to hear from Girl Scouts, highlighting current programming at Girl Scouts, and allowing visitors to meet with members of the senior leadership team and tour camp facilities.

"We are thrilled to welcome supporters and members of this elite group to our camp and want them to know how much we value their contributions that help girls be active and outdoors - a vital part of the Girl Scout leadership experience,” said Kat Steiner, Director of Development for Girl Scouts of Western Ohio.

Currently more than 300 Girl Scouts have benefited from Camp for Every Girl and received financial assistance in the last two years. Girl Scouts of Western Ohio currently manages six camp properties.

For more information about Camp for Every Girl or opportunities to support Girl Scouts, individuals are encouraged to contact Cheryl Drinnen at or call 513-619-1408.
