Renewal Instructions for Families

Another year full of giggles is ahead for your and your Girl Scout! You can renew her membership in just a few steps:

  1. Select MY GS at the top of this page and choose MEMBER PROFILE to log in
  2. Navigate to the MEMBERSHIP tab and choose the NEXT YEAR for renewal
  3. Select your renewal choice for each member of your household
  4. Once you reach the payment screen, you can choose to donate to Family Partnership, upgrade any adults to lifetime members, request financial assistance, and complete your transaction
  5. After you've confirmed your family's renewals and clicked SUBMIT, you can share the excitement on social media!
Renewal Instructions for Troop Leaders

Renewing your troop for another year of experiences full of giggles can be completed with just a few clicks:

  1. Select MY GS at the top of this page and choose MEMBER PROFILE to log in
  2. Go to the TROOP tab and choose the NEXT YEAR for renewal
  3. If you have more than one troop, your troops will be listed in the drop-down menu on the left
  4. Select your RENEWAL CHOICE* for each troop member
    • *YOUR SELECTION MATTERS: Parents and/or guardians of girls in your troop will receive emails based on your choices!
    • RENEW: Select for all girls who will return to your troop next year through payment in this transaction.
    • DON'T RENEW: Select only for girls who will NOT be joining your troop again next year. If this option is selected in error the Registration Help Desk must be contacted to correct it before the girl can be renewed.
    • I'LL DECIDE LATER: Select for girls who might return next year but are not paying at this time. You can return to renew them any time!
  5. On the payment screen you can choose to upgrade any adults to lifetime membership and complete your transaction
    • Options for financial aid and making donations to Family Partnership can only be seen through the family account
  6. After you've confirmed the renewals and clicked SUBMIT, you can share the excitement on social media!

Get acquainted with the TROOP tab! From here you can:

  • Add a new member by selecting GIRL or ADULT at the bottom and press GO
  • Select VIEW/EDIT TROOP INFORMATION to ensure we have up-to-date troop information
  • Edit contact information if something changes
  • Add a volunteer role to an adult member
Trouble Logging In?

Q: Why isn’t my username working?
A: Your username is typically your email address. If you have more than one email address, try each. You can also use the “Forgot Your Password?” link to send a reset email to your email address. If you’re still having trouble, contact your council’s Customer Care team.

Q: Why aren’t I getting the password reset emails?
A: The password reset emails come from gsusacustomercare@girlscouts.org, so please make sure it’s added to your safe senders list. If you requested the reset email before marking our email address as safe, check your spam folder. If you’re still not receiving the email, contact your council’s Customer Care team to verify that your username/email address is correct.

Q: How do I reset my password when I no longer have access to the email address associated with my account?
A: Your council’s Customer Care team can easily change your username/email address without requiring you to recreate your account.

Q: Why can’t I see my family when I log in?
A: There are a couple reasons this could happen:

  • Another adult family member may be listed as the preferred contact on the account. That person must log in to renew. Contact your council’s Customer Care team if you’d like to be listed as your household’s preferred contact.
  • You may have a second or duplicate account with a different email address. Try a different username. If that works, be sure to contact your council’s Customer Care team to merge the two accounts into one.

Q: Why can’t I see my troop(s) when I log in?
A: There are several reasons this could happen:

  • Troops are listed on a separate tab from your family. If you have more than one troop, look for the pull-down menu to change between them.
  • Check your member profile to make sure you’re listed as a volunteer in the troop.
  • Not all troop volunteers can access the troop tab. Check with your council to see which volunteer roles they allow to access the tab.
  • If your background check has expired, you may lose access until it is up-to-date.
