Denise Driehaus – President, Hamilton County Board of Commissioners toggle arrow

Denise Driehaus, the second woman ever elected to Hamilton County’s Board of County Commissioners, has dedicated her career to building a more equitable and thriving community. She founded the Hamilton County Commission on Women & Girls, leading initiatives that secured free period products in schools, created a Girls Court to support wellness over detention, and advanced pay equity commitments signed by more than 140 companies. As Executive Chair of the Hamilton County Addiction Response Coalition, Denise has also championed lifesaving recovery efforts. Her vision, courage, and leadership embody the true spirit of a Changemaker.

Ann Hartmann – Philanthropist supporting the Arts, United Way, and Girl Scouts toggle arrow

A lifelong Girl Scout and Curved Bar (Gold Award) recipient, Ann Hartmann has spent her life championing girls, the arts, and her community. She has served as troop leader, camp counselor, three-term president of the Maumee Valley Council, and board member of Girl Scouts of Western Ohio, as well as a member of the Juliette Gordon Low Society. Beyond Girl Scouts, Ann has led and supported organizations including the United Way of Greater Toledo, Toledo Museum of Art, Epworth United Methodist Church, and numerous nonprofits across the region. Professionally, she built and led Hartmann and Associates into a respected national financial services firm. Nominated as a Changemaker , Ann embodies courage, generosity, and leadership, leaving a lasting legacy of service and empowerment.

Amy Vann – Founder, Give Like a Mother toggle arrow

Inspired by her own childhood experience with clothing insecurity, Amy Vann founded Give Like a Mother (GLAM) in 2018 to bridge the gap between families with items to give and children in need. What began in her living room has grown into a 14,800-square-foot operation at Eastgate Mall, distributing more than 20,000 PACKs with clothing, shoes, coats, and essentials to children from birth through high school. In 2024 alone, GLAM served over 5,400 children. While working as a nurse anesthetist, Amy has built GLAM into a sustainable, volunteer-driven nonprofit dedicated to clothing children in confidence and dignity. For her vision, leadership, and tireless advocacy, Amy was nominated as a Changemaker and continues to inspire her community.

Carole Williams – First Lady and Ambassador, Mount St. Joseph University toggle arrow

Carole Williams is a dynamic community advocate in Cincinnati, serving as First Lady of Mount St. Joseph University while also lending her expertise nationally through leadership roles with the ACCU and CIC Presidential Spouse Task Forces. She built her career as a CPA with IBM and the Michigan Small Business & Technology Development Center and taught accounting and finance in higher education for more than a decade. Carole is also a leader in the nonprofit world, having served on numerous boards, including Girl Scouts of Western Ohio, Cincinnati Shakespeare Theater, and the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. She was nominated as a Changemaker for breaking barriers as one of few women—and even fewer women of color—in the financial sector during the 1980s, and for mentoring countless young women to lead with courage, confidence, and character, leaving a legacy of empowerment and service.

U.S. Bank Security Briefing Center Operations Team – Corporate Changemaker toggle arrow

The U.S. Bank Security Briefing Center Operations Team was nominated as a Changemaker for its innovative partnership with Girl Scouts of Western Ohio to expand access to cybersecurity and digital literacy education. Since October 2023, their interactive workshops have reached more than 160 Girl Scouts, with over 90% reporting new knowledge and greater confidence in their digital skills. Led by Charles Banks, with team members Tyler Willis and Phillip Mixon, the group oversees day-to-day operations within the bank’s security briefing facilities and drives community outreach, STEM education, and university partnerships. Through engaging, real-world simulations and mentorship, the team empowers girls to see themselves as future leaders in technology while fostering a culture of safety, responsibility, and confidence.

Magnified Giving – Nonprofit Changemaker toggle arrow

Founded in 2008 by philanthropist Roger Grein, Magnified Giving is a nonprofit dedicated to educating, inspiring, and engaging youth in philanthropy. Each year, more than 6,000 students participate in its Youth Philanthropy Program, Camp Give, and service-learning resources, researching community needs, serving with nonprofits, and granting real funding to organizations they select. To date, over 54,000 youth have directed more than $2 million to 700 nonprofits across causes such as mental health, education, hunger, and sustainability. Nominated as a Changemaker , Magnified Giving empowers young people with courage, confidence, and leadership while building a culture of empathy and service. Its partnership with Girl Scouts of Western Ohio further inspires girls to lead with vision and make a lasting impact.
