Every girl deserves to be a Girl Scout
Every girl should have the opportunity to find her wow through Girl Scouts. Girls should not be turned away when she has the desire to discover new things, connect with other girls, and make the world a better place. That’s why Girl Scouts of Western Ohio is proud to offer financial aid to our members, thanks to our generous sponsors, so that all girls may participate fully in Girl Scout program activities and camp. Please review our financial assistance policies.
We’ve got you.
Our financial aid application process was designed with families in mind. To increase opportunities for girls and make it easier for families to apply, Girl Scouts of Western Ohio has streamlined the financial assistance process.
Girl Scouts of Western Ohio offers financial assistance in the following ways:
Annual Membership Registration
First-year members who want to be part of the Girl Scouts sisterhood but cannot afford to do so can select financial assistance when registering online. Families are asked to pay a portion of the fee if possible.
Renewing members will have opportunities to earn membership renewal through cookie program rewards and/or the ability to request a membership subsidy from the council for extenuating circumstances.
Each year, Girl Scout troops/groups are encouraged to designate a portion of their troop funds for the annual membership dues.
If you need assistance or more information, contact our Customer Care team at 888.350.5090 or by email.
Events and Uniforms
Financial assistance may be available for Girl Scout events, uniform components, and grade-level handbooks.
