ROYAL Theatre Company is proud to present The Wizard of Oz, October 10-12, 2025, at Mason High School. Follow the yellow brick road in this delightful stage adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s beloved tale in which young Dorothy Gale travels from Kansas over the rainbow to the magical Land of Oz!
The Wizard of Oz musical production is a stage adaptation of the beloved 1939 MGM film, featuring iconic songs by Harold Arlen and E.Y. Harburg such as “Over the Rainbow” and “Follow the Yellow Brick Road.” The story follows Dorothy Gale, a young girl from Kansas who is swept away by a tornado to the magical land of Oz. There, she embarks on a journey to find the Wizard, joined by the Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Cowardly Lion, each seeking something they believe only the Wizard can provide. This faithful adaptation brings the classic tale to life with vibrant costumes, familiar characters, and timeless themes of friendship, courage, and the meaning of home. “Wizard of Oz teaches us all about personal growth, self-discovery, and learning to value our own abilities,” said Karen Kilgore, President of ROYAL Theatre Company.
