Fall Product Program

Everyone knows we sell cookies in the winter, but did you know we also sell goodies in the fall? Our fall product program gives troops a chance to earn startup money without having to wait until cookie time in the winter. They can use the funds they earn to enjoy new and exciting opportunities right away!

Girls also learn goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics.

Want to participate this year?

Let's get started!

The GSWO Fall Product Program gives girls the opportunity to offer candy, nuts, and magazines to people they know personally to raise proceeds that help fund their next adventure. Girls also learn important life skills like goal setting and money management, and they can earn fun rewards too! Girls can sell in person to their friends or family or ask through the M2 secure online system for the program. The Fall Product Program is safe, easy and FUN

Be sure that your troop has a designated Troop Fall Product Manager! This person will be the volunteer in chage of the program for the girls. They need to be registered as a Troop Assistant - Fall Product Manager and complete the online agreement form that will come in their welcome email. The agreement form has to be completed before they be granted access to M2, the online system needed to properly manage the Fall Product Program.

Care to Share Donation Program

What is Care to Share?

For those customers who many not want to purchase nuts or candy for themselves, the Care to Share donation program is a perfect solution! Customers simply pay $6 and GSWO will donate a nut or candy item to a local food bank! Last year, our council donated more than 8,000 items to local food pantries throughout western Ohio!

To partcipate, a customer simply pays the funds and marks "Care to Share" on the order card or in the online storefront. When a girl collects three donations, she'll earn the Care to Share patch!

ACH Processing

Taking care of finances is even easier than before as everything is now handled through Automated Clearing House (ACH) withdrawals. Troops will no longer have to deposit funds into our council bank account using deposits that can be time consuming and hard to track. Now, you deposit all your fall product funds into the troop account, and the council will withdraw what you owe. In an increasingly paperless world, this means that girls, families, and troops will be able to cut down on the deposits, receipts, cash, and checks!

The Girl Scouts of Western Ohio Bank Information Form is required for all troops. Troops must also submit their form before gaining access to Clover Go "boarding" registration. Clover Go will allow your troop and girls to accept Credit Card payments on the go! And the best part? GSWO is covering all of the fees!

1 | Complete the Bank Information Form*
Have your troop bank account information handy, you’ll need your Routing and Account numbers! Visit gswo.org/bankform to complete.
*this is required for every troop to participate in the Product Programs. Not submitting this form will result in product being withheld at delivery.

2 | Watch the brief Clover Go recorded training
In your confirmation email after completing the Bank Information form (above), you will receive a link to watch a short video explaining Clover Go.

3 | Set up your Clover Go Account!
Once you have watched the training you will be able to create your Clover Go account so that your troop can accept credit card payments anywhere, anytime! If you set up your Clover Go account during the Cookie Program, then you're all set for fall!

Ready to go? Complete your Bank Information Form now!

Council will perform one ACH (Automatic Clearing House) withdrawal at the end of the Fall Product Program on December 9, 2020.

Clover Go Credit Card Processing

Clover Go is a credit card processing app available for all of our troops and all of our girls! GSWO is partnering with a company called Fiserv (formerly First Data) to offer the Clover Go App to make this an option in our council.

This means troops and girls will be able accept credit cards for a contact-free form of payment when delivering fall product to customers. All funds are directly deposited into the troop banking account making it fast, easy, and efficient to accept credit cards!

And the best part? Girl Scouts of Western Ohio is covering all of the processing fees!

If your troop used the Clover Go app during the 2020 Cookie Program, then no need to set up a new account! As long as your information is correct, then you're all set up to use during the Fall Product Program.
