April is the start of spring, and we are one month closer to summer camp! As we gear up for summer camp, GSWO has been busy planning new experiences and adventures for all western Ohio girls.
This month, I am sharing about the adventures girls experience that give them a taste of the Girl Scout Experience while making it accessible to them. The Girl Scout Experience is what girls need, and we want to make certain that every girl gets to be a Girl Scout.
In this issue, you will read about:
- First Day at Camp: Regional Camp Days give girls served in schools or community centers their “first day at camp” as they try a variety of camp activities.
- Spring Break Adventurers: Spring Break Day Camp introduces girls to Girl Scouts as they explore the outdoors and go on new adventures.
- Community Partners for Every Girl Scout: GSWO’s partnership with Greater Toledo Community Foundation ensures every girl gets a full Girl Scout experience through our Girl Scouts for Every Girl initiative.
- Nominate a Changemaker: GSWO is accepting nominations for Girl Scout, woman, or corporate changemakers to be honored at the “She Leads: A Celebration of Changemakers” breakfast in October.
Without your support, it wouldn’t be possible for every girl to experience the magic of Girl Scouts! Thanks to you, girls can explore outdoors, try new things, and make friends — all while growing in confidence. Not only do you ensure girls get to experience Girl Scouts, but you help us give every girl in every neighborhood a chance to be a Girl Scout. Thank you for all you do to support this important work!
Yours in Girl Scouting,
