You open her eyes to a world of possibilities. You help her transform into a force for good. You prepare her for a lifetime of leadership, success, and adventure. Because of you, she has the chance to learn what she’s capable of accomplishing and of being inspired to reach for it.

Volunteer Years of Service and Membership Pin
From planning a big event to the small special moments shared with
the girls—all their efforts are appreciated and important to building
girls of courage, confidence, and character! Each month, one volunteer
will be selected in every region of western Ohio (North, Central, and
South) for Volunteer of the Month.
The Volunteer of the Month receives:
- A signed certificate from our CEO, Aimée Sproles
- $25 gift certificate to our council shops
- Social media recognition
Volunteer of the Month - March 2024
Chelsea Floro — North Region — Troop Leader — Troop 12327
Chelsea goes above and beyond for her troop of 19 and her community. She leads with compassion, understanding, and an ever-calm demeanor. She is such a powerfully positive role model for girls! In addition to serving the girls in her troop, she played a big role in the success of the Fire Trails Service Unit's recent Sasquatch Overnight event. Chelsea worked on the registration table, helped problem-solve when a fire couldn't start due to wind, and came up with a solution to get everyone fed. She also stepped in to help run activities.
Christi Bok — Central Region — Troop Volunteer — Troop 2114
Christi signed up to volunteer in 2023 to help with volunteer-led summer camp. When she asked about volunteering, she asked what it would entail, and I explained that we would take her help as she extended it. Since then, she has helped with county events, meetings, and cookie booths. She has brainstormed to help create new events for girls to help maintain interest and has fully immersed herself into the Girl Scouts culture. Our troop and service team appreciate her service so much!
Bryon Stackpole — South Region — Troop Assistant and Cookie Cupboard Manager — Troop 41343
Bryon and his wife Lori not only run a cupboard at their home, but he also volunteers to help at the council cupboard. He loves cookie season! He and Lori both go above and beyond for Mason and council. They kept their cupboard open for troops who participated in the extended cookie program.
