gsLearn

What is gsLearn?< gsLearn is Girl Scout’s online learning platform.  This free platform houses a variety of learning modules that can be completed at your own pace, meaning you can start and stop at your convenience. This platform works on your phone, tablet or computer.

Where to Find it? From the main menu on the GSWO website, click on MyGS, select Volunteer Toolkit from the dropdown and then select gsLearn.

Successful Leader Learning Series is required for all troop leaders and recommended for all volunteers.

Leader Lives

Join us in the GSWO Volunteer Support Facebook Group on Tuesdays this membership year for our new learning opportunity, Leader Lives! In these 30-minute Facebook Lives, new and returning troop leaders will learn all about the various aspects of Girl Scouts!

Can't attend live? That's okay! Replays will be available in the Facebook Group to watch at any time after the livestream.

Flag Ceremonies | Mar 16, 2021 | 12 PM
A flag ceremony honors the American flag as the symbol of our country and all the hopes, dreams, and people it represents. We’ll demonstrate a Flag Ceremony and answer any questions that you have as you plan for your troop to hold their own.

Leaders join us as we explore the Girl Scout tradition of debriefing as we discuss this cooperative learning and learning by doing technique to engage girls in their learning and encourage them to grow.

Girl-Led | Apr 27, 2021 |  12 PM
Girls of every grade level shape their experience by asking questions, sharing ideas, and using their imaginations. When girls play a critical role as decision makers in the planning and implementation of their activities, they are more engaged. Join us as we discuss how to make things girl-led by grade level.
