Spend the day experiencing life on Bowlander Farm (Genoa, OH) with interactive, hands-on activities that bring you up close with a variety of animals. Throughout the day, students will learn about animal diets, food habits, and habitats in an engaging and educational way.Girl Scouts will get the chance to: Milk a real, live cow-not a replica! Hold baby chicks and ducks while comparing eggs from different species. Girl Scouts will Observe an active bee hive and discover the importance of pollination. They will hold baby bunnies and learn how they are cared for on the farm. Girl Scouts can visit Goat Mountain and hand-feed the goats .They will get a chance to explore the Discovery Barn, a hands-on learning space with interactive exhibits. At the end of their trip, they will Plant sunflowers and leave your mark on the farm. Please Note: No tagalongs.Each Girl Scout will receive a patch for this program.
