Join our friends at the Archaeological Research Institute to DIG into what it means to be an archaeologist! Girl Scouts will experience the work these scientists do in both the lab AND field with a series of fun activities such as mapping, excavation techniques, and more! Girl Scouts will also contribute to real archaeological analysis by touring a lab, talking to archaeologists performing research, and washing artifacts. They'll be working with real materials that are around 1,000 years old!Girl Scouts will earn a special ARI Patch, which is included in cost. Be sure to pack a lunch to eat between the Lab and Field sessions! After registering, please navigate to your My Events tab and select this event. There, you will find a link to a pdf confirmation with further information about the program.
