In this high-energy Mechanical Engineering Design Challenge, you'll dream it, design it, and build your very own paddle boat using everyday materials. Then, put your creation to the test and see how it performs! Led by engineers from GE Aerospace, you'll get an inside look at how real engineers solve problems, think creatively, and turn ideas into reality. This hands-on STEM experience is packed with innovation, teamwork, and fun as you dive into the engineering design process. Badge included in the cost! Due to limited lobby space, participants will be escorted directly to the auditorium upon check-in. Troops may wait to enter until all attendees arrive or designate one adult to wait in the lobby-no exceptions.
