Explore the history of the Shawnee, their connection to the land,
and the importance of prairie ecosystems at Great Council State Park
as we celebrate America250! Go on a guided tour of Ohio's newest state
park, take a prairie walk to learn about native plants and
pollinators, and learn how you can take an active role in caring for
the land near you. They will also have picnic areas open, if troops
want to bring a sack lunch that day for afterwards. And there will be
other activities for America250 happening at the park as well that day.
