Are you ready for a sweet adventure? Join our fellow Girl Scouts at
Farbach-Werner Nature Preserve for a day of maple sugar madness! We
will discover the natural and cultural history of maple sugaring, take
a hike through the sugarbush, learn to tap a tree, and see the process
of sugaring from start to finish. The best part? We'll be able to
sample the end result!
Girls will also complete steps to earn
badges such as: Eco Friend, Animal Habitats, and the Tree badge! This
event is suited for Brownies, Juniors, and Cadettes. Girls will be
split into separate age groups to complete their badge tasks all while
learning about the magic of maple sugaring! All girls will go home
with a Maple Sugaring fun patch!
