Welcome to the 2025 Annual Report
Thank you for your ongoing support of Girl Scouts of Western Ohio! We are so excited to share our 2025 Annual Report. This report shows how your support has made a difference for girls across western Ohio and southeastern Indiana.
From Fall Product Sales to Holiday Good Will 
While working on their Budget Maker badge, Girl Scout Troop 3453 was inspired to not only learn how to use money wisely for their troop, but to help others! Through a girl-led discussion and community problem-solving, the girls decided to use the money they earned from Fall Product sales to sponsor four Angel Tree children. The girls were so excited to shop for other kids—if they had been able to, they would have taken the rest of the names too!
Thank you, Girl Scouts, for being a model of good will and selflessness in your community!
The Best Thing Since Sliced Bread
Troop 34293 is the best thing since sliced bread!
The Miamisburg Senior troop has undertaken achieving their Sow What Journey. As part of their Take Action Project, the girls learned how to create bread from scratch using the Baking for Good program. The program goals were to learn, bake, and share the delicious creations!
The friends delivered their loaves to their city’s food pantry, Helping Hands, where they toured the facility, sorted donations, distributed food, and handed out 68 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies. The troop agreed the best part of the day was giving boxes of cookies to the patrons, who all enjoyed the treat!
Thank you, Girl Scouts, for modeling what it means to build a kinder, more compassionate community — one loaf of bread and box of cookies at a time!
We Build: Girls Leave their Mark at Camp
At Camp Whip Poor Will, Girl Scouts participated in the "We Build" sessions, working on a construction project that will be enjoyed by campers for years to come! A brand-new boathouse to store the camp's canoes has been completed using real tools and real teamwork under the mentorship of Allied Construction Industries. Thank you to Allied Construction Industries, Ranger Garrett, and the property team for all of their hard work!
What did the girls like best? To quote one Girl Scout "Knowing that this is going to be here for a long time. I like how we get to do a real world job. It's really cool. This could be what I want to do!"
Well-Deserved Cardinal Award
Congratulations to lifetime member and former GSWO Outdoor Program Team Leader, Vicki Proctor, who received the Cardinal Award from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) at the Ohio State Fair.
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and ODNR Director Mary Mertz honored Vicki for her environmental stewardship and four decades of work promoting the outdoors to future generations, including through the national Girl Scouts Love State Parks initiative. It's no surprise that even in retirement, Vicki continues to promote and support women of all ages in outdoor recreation.
Congratulations, Vicki, on this well-deserved award. Thank you for giving so many Girl Scouts an introduction to our beautiful outdoor resources!

The Girl Scout Voices Count survey tracks a Belonging and Inclusion Index to measure the behaviors associated with inclusive and equitable environments, as well as experiences that result in high levels of engagement with the organization.
