Meet Our Gold Award Scholarship Recipient
Congratulations to Whitney H. of Miamisburg, one of 110 recipients nationwide of a $5,000 Gold Award Scholarship from Girl Scouts of the USA!
Whitney earned her Gold Award by creating a healing outdoor space for girls living in a group home who have experienced trauma. Through leadership, collaboration, and perseverance, she transformed the facility's backyard into a place that supports mental health through art, gardening, and connection.
After graduating from Archbishop Alter High School this spring, Whitney is headed to the University of Arkansas this fall to begin her next adventure.
Join us in celebrating this recognition of Whitney's leadership and impact on her community. Three cheers for you, Whitney!
