Renovation of the Ottoville Park Bathrooms
Rachel’s project addressed the critical need for an accessible, safe, efficient, and functional bathroom at Ottoville Park. The existing facilities featured outdated toilets, inefficient sinks and soap stations, poor lighting, worn-out stalls, and unsafe flooring, creating hazards in this high-traffic area. Working in collaboration with the park system, Rachel led upgrades that included new plumbing with water-efficient sinks and toilets, non-slip flooring, energy-saving LED lighting to improve visibility and safety, accessible stalls, fresh paint, and improved hand-washing stations. To further support the project’s impact, Rachel created educational posters to inform the community about the bathroom water and energy saving functionality, safety, and accessibility, helping ensure long-term care and awareness of the upgraded facilities.
