Sew Kindness: I Found a Quilted Heart
Girls will learn basic stitching skills while creating a small stuffed heart inspired by the I Found A Quilted Heart community. These handmade hearts are left in public places for someone to find as a simple act of kindness.

Dig In & Grow! A Gardening Adventure
Our friends from 80 Acres Farms will teach the basics of gardening—from how plants grow to simple ways you can start your own garden at home. You’ll learn tips for caring for plants, explore what they need to thrive, and discover how even small spaces can become growing spaces. Best of all, you will plant and take home your very own plant to continue growing!
Sensory 101: The Science of Taste
Ever wonder how you actually taste food? Join our partner MANE to dive into flavor mapping, explore the core taste categories, and experience live demonstrations that bring sweet, sour, savory, and bitter to life.
What types of workshops and activities will my child participate in?
Workshops at past CSAcons have covered topics such as cultural dancing, career exploration, food science, embroidery, knitting, financial literacy, and more.. The options change year to year based on suggestions from the planning committee. All attendees will participate in evening social activities, attend the annual dance, and compete in friendly competition against other groups of attendees. All other workshops are subject to registration. A full list will be available soon!
How do I sign up for workshops?
A survey will be sent shortly after registration closes for registered members to rank various unique and exciting workshop opportunities. We will do our best to ensure girls receive at least one of their top picks!
